Caribou Coffee, an American premium coffee chain which has just opened its first store in Morocco, has announced the strengthening of its presence in the country with ten more points in the next two years.
The new store located more precisely in Casablanca, in the Racine district, cost the American group more than 5 million DH, bringing its cumulative investments to more than 10 million DH so far, reports Challenge.
Encouraged by the business climate and the national market, the management announced the development of its activity in the country. This requires the creation over the next two years, of at least ten points of sale mainly distributed between Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech, it is indicated.
Caribou Coffee is present in ten countries where it has some 300 cafes. In its domestic market, it has more than 500 units, the weekly highlights.
The number 2 American premium coffee chain thus joins the Turkish Espressolab and Boost Coffee in Morocco and its main competitor Starbucks, which has been present in the kingdom for ten years and has more than twenty points of sale.
