It is an injustice, I advise you, to return to wisdom and to God “, he addressed the Algerian leaders during an intervention before the members of the National Commission and the members of the general secretariat of the party. “If there is war, we are with our country and our king (and) you are not going to win the war”, he assured, warning these soldiers that Morocco was not easy and that his revenge was not either.
Regarding relations between Morocco and Israel, the former head of government said they were “old.” “We are not going to condemn our country. We are alongside our king and our country, period, ”he said, reminding the“ brothers of the Machrek (Middle East) that Morocco will never let go of the Palestinian cause ”. “According to him, it is a doctrinal cause, because Moroccans and Palestinians have always been” equal and brothers, united in happiness and misfortune […] and King Mohammed VI has always supported the Palestinian cause “.
As an example, Abdelillah Benkirane recalled one of the actions carried out in favor of Palestine: Morocco was the first and the only country in the Arab world to have created, during the reign of the late King Hassan II, a tax on tobacco and cinema for the benefit of the Palestinian cause.
