The National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) has just chosen the service provider for the subcontracting of the management and operation of the installations and structures of the waste treatment unit of the Bouregreg treatment.
The commission responsible for studying the proposals of the tenderers in the call for tenders, launched at the end of June, finally appointed Aquatech Maroc Services des Eaux. It is a subsidiary of the Aquatech International group, the largest private manager and operator of drinking and wastewater infrastructure in Canada. The company has been present in Morocco for nearly 10 years in study and organizational support services for state companies.
Aquatech Maroc’s bid was accepted after the elimination, following the examination of the technical file, of two companies (EMEGEP and Kechakchi) which had submitted more advantageous financial proposals.
The amount of the annual service for the successful bidder is estimated at 890,000 dirhams. The contract is for twelve months but may be renewed for a period of five years.
