Agadir airport is getting a makeover


Renovation works at Agadir airport will start next month for a period of 12 months, in order to respond to the sustained growth in passenger traffic.

The National Airports Office (ONDA) has announced the start of the development of this airport platform from December 6, reports Les Inspirations Eco, specifying that the cost of the works for this market is estimated at 20.3 million dirhams .

The objective is to increase the reception capacities of regional airports and the generalization of compliance with international standards in terms of the flow of air traffic, air safety, airport safety and quality of services, specified the office.

Concretely, the work will consist of the demolition of the existing partitioning, the extension of the domestic and international boarding areas as well as the area of ​​the screening inspection posts and that of the Border Police for the arrivals area, details the daily. .

This renovation also includes the construction of a new building. The change of various networks, in particular water, electricity, sanitation with their connection to the existing networks in addition to the structural work and waterproofing as well as the construction of a steel metal frame, mainly for the terminal and the handling part.
