Morocco remains in the top 5 of the best countries to live in for French retirees. This is what emerges from the ranking of a specialized site.

Morocco occupies the 4ᵉ place in the ranking of the best countries where it is good to live for French retirees, carried out by the site retraitesansfrontieres.fr. It owes this place to the tax advantages, as well as to a quality of life it offers. The kingdom is followed by Tunisia, back in the ranking after several difficult years linked to a wave of attacks.

Greece tops the list for its climate, idyllic setting and tax benefits for foreign retirees, with a 7% tax rate for 15 years on all income. It is followed by Portugal and Spain (3ᵉ) whose quality of its healthcare system is highly appreciated. Thailand, which attracts due to its gentle lifestyle and beautiful landscapes, occupies the 6ᵉ place. It is followed by Mauritius and Senegal. Bali and the Dominican Republic complete the top 10.

To achieve its ranking, the site defined several criteria such as the cost of living, the value of real estate, medical care, but also cultural heritage and gastronomy, climate or infrastructure.
