Royal Air Maroc has just been voted the best airline in Africa by Global Traveler magazine. The announcement was made on Tuesday at the magazine’s 18th edition of the magazine’s “GT Tested Reader Survey” held in Los Angeles.

The Moroccan airline was also voted fourth best airline in the MENA zone (Middle East and North Africa). It is preceded by Etihad Airways, Emirates and Qatar Airways. “We are happy and honored to receive this prestigious award and to be recognized as the best airline in Africa… This Global Traveler Awards motivates us above all to continue to move forward and improve, despite the difficult times that our sector crosses “, indicated Hamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, quoted in a press release published by the company.

The GT Tested Reader Survey is a benchmark survey run by Global Traveler, an international monthly magazine aimed primarily at frequent business and leisure travelers. For this 18th edition of the “GT Tested Reader Survey”, some 20,000 magazine subscribers took part in the votes. In addition, OneWorld, of which Royal Air Maroc has been a member since 2020, also obtained in this edition, the title of best global airline alliance for the 12th consecutive year.
