(+ 76%) which continues to recover thanks to the increase in the number of passenger flights, even if these volumes are still 33% below the volumes of August 2019 ”, reports Brussels Airport.
“We have yet to reach the 5.3 million passengers registered in the summer of 2019, but confidence in travel is starting to return, and it has been shown once again this summer that it is possible to travel in complete safety, thanks to vaccination and / or tests ”, underlines Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport Company, in a press release.
