Marrakech is in the top 3 of the most popular destinations for the French for the February vacations. This is what emerges from a survey conducted by the travel comparison Liligo.
Many French people want to go to Marrakech to enjoy the sun during the winter vacations of 2023. The travel comparator Liligo places the Ochre city in the 3ᵉ position of the top 10 destinations most favored by the French. A round trip costs 177 €. Bangkok tops the list with a round trip for one person at €909. It is followed by Point-à-Pitre. Fort-de-France rises to the 4ᵉ position. Next is Lisbon for a round trip at €84, a 22% price drop from 2020, and Saint-Denis de la Réunion (6ᵉ). The most sought-after destination for winter vacations for two consecutive years of the Covid-19 health crisis, Dubai plummets to 8ᵉ place in the top 10 destinations.
In a statement, Guillaume Rostand, spokesman for Liligo said that travel intentions to sunny destinations for these winter vacations are common from all 3 school vacation zones and continue to confirm the positive trend for the air travel sector whose recovery is no longer in question.
